The Pantheon Rome is the only completely intact pieceof Roman Architecture left in the world. It is simply breathtaking and no visit to Roma is complete without a look inside where, among other things you can find the remains of Raphael the painter.
Be warned though that due to the increased security some restrictions may be enforced to stop you taking photographs of this highly sensitive building. The Pantheon is held up by huge monolithic marble pillars each weighing 90 tonnes which were miraculously brought to Rome by sea from Egypt over 2000 years ago. Inside the Pantheon you should look up and admire the ornate ceiling.
